Remain in me, as I also remain in you.
JOHN 15:4 | NIV
Dear friend,
I want to welcome you to ReMain, a place where I hope you will find yourself tended to, both in body and spirit. I founded ReMain in 2024 out of a desire to offer an addition (but not a substitute) to the traditional Church space and its spiritual practices. After spending over 25 years in ministry and Church leadership, what I found in my own life (and began to observe in the lives of others) was a desire for something more than the routine of a Sunday morning service: I wanted opportunities for a quiet, intimate communion with God, spiritual rhythms of prayer and worshipful movement in my daily life, and a place to both celebrate and be safely curious about Scripture, a life of faith, and Jesus himself.
Just as Jesus welcomed all to the table, all are welcome here. I can’t wait to meet and come alongside you as we “remain” together.
Warmly, Shari Feeser
R-YFT 100 Certified YogaFaith Instructor (currently pursuing Level 200 certification) and M.A. in Theology and Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Meet Our Teachers
Deborah Shannon
Deborah has lived in Montana for 47 years with her husband Jeff, where they love enjoying the outdoors, camping, gardening, and taking walks with their three children and four grandchildren. After retiring from the medical field, Deborah returned to her lifelong passion for movement and recently obtained her 200-hour yoga teacher training through YogaFaith. Her personal journey with yoga began years ago as a pathway to manage chronic back pain from an injury. Having experienced firsthand how movement can transform both physical and overall well-being, she is passionate about helping others pursue whole-body restoration, strength, and flexibility on the mat.
Tanya Horat
Tanya is a recently certified Level 200 yoga instructor who brings a deep heart for whole-body stewardship and alignment to the ReMain space. Her teaching focuses on helping students build a strong, reliable foundation for their practice by breaking down essential poses with structural integrity. Tanya places an emphasis on deep body awareness, proper muscle engagement, and breath coordination so that students learn to move with safety and clear intention rather than falling into routine habit.
About
Located on Main Street in Stevensville, Montana, ReMain offers a unique and compassionate exploration of Christian spiritual practices. Through faith-rooted movement, guided conversational events, and quarterly artisanal meals, it is the mission of ReMain to create a restorative space for the long-journeying Christian, the faith-curious, or those who simply desire a deeper connectedness between their mind and spirit.
ReMain is…
-
Rooted deeply in Christian theology and practice, ReMain is a space where Christians can gather to grow in their faith outside of and in addition to local churches. The studio follows the church calendar year in its events and study and esteems scripture as its foundation and guiding light.
-
Shari integrates an acute awareness that God appeals to different individuals in unique and timely ways. For people who have left the church or feel like a misfit in their church, or simply have never explored faith previously, the doors of ReMain are always open.
-
In the center of the ReMain space sits a table, set for anyone who craves fellowship and a shared meal, namely during Gather events. But this image of a table is also core to why ReMain exists: a space where everyone can come and more chairs can always be added. Where questions can be asked and theological musings can be explored. Where rich flavors and second helpings are abundant and where conversations linger. A space where at the end of the day, anyone can come taste and see the goodness of God and know that they are loved.
What is Christian Spirituality?
-
The Bible is the written revelation of God’s character and purposes, and the Old and New Testaments are the beginning of understanding for all faith and practice.
-
God is three equal and communal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all creation; the Holy Other. The Son, Jesus, came into the world to initiate a deeply personal and redemptive relationship with creation. For Christians, this relationship with God is informed and sustained by the interaction of these three communal persons.
-
Spiritual formations are practices that enrich humanity’s ability to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and love others as we love ourselves.
